World of Warcraft Expansion Trailer
It’s not a movie, not yet, but World of Warcraft’s next expansion Rath of the Lich King is coming out in a few months.
This looks incredibly awesome, i’m a little worried about the fact they claim to be working on a “live action” version of the movie. Looking at this trailer for the Lich King, I think i’d rather see a movie made up in CGI. If they have this kind of capability, why would they bother with live action?

Have Optimus Prime call your buds
Neat viral movie marketing gimmick spotting: Have a phone call made to your buddy with Optimus Prime’s voice.I remember the Snakes on a Plane marketing project where you could call your friends using Samuel Jackson’s voice. This kind of thing is really neat and can be fun to play around with. I guess it helps sell DVD’s every once and a while too…

Godfather I & II coming back to theaters
Truly awesome news, Godfather I & II coming back to theaters reports IMDB.com.
The first two Godfather movies have been restored and are returning to the big screen.
Cleaned-up 35mm versions of the mafia epics - directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro - will be screened at September’s Gotham Film Forum in New York before hitting movie theatres across the U.S.
The work has been carried out by Robert A. Harris, under the direction of Coppola and original cinematographer Gordon Willis.
Harris - who also worked on a Lawrence of Arabia restoration - claims his job was made tougher because high demand for prints of the movies had left the original negative in poor condition.
He tells Daily Variety, “(It was) the worst I’ve ever seen in a picture from the modern era.”
The first two Godfathers are among the most successful and critically acclaimed movies ever made.

The Clone Wars: Review
If you are like most people by now you just read the title of this post “The Clone Wars: Review” and just don’t give a hoot, I didn’t either going into this movie. I took my five year old son, who loved every minute of it. That’s when it hit me for the first time in my long drawn out, agree with Patton Oswald, sadly disappointed with the prequels, Star Wars fandom life that neither the prequels nor this movie were meant for me. That’s where I think most of the anger towards Lucas is coming from, fans simply feel betrayed. To a certain extent they have been, but generally I think you just have to let it go. Lucas isn’t the man anymore, live with it… (more…) -

Dark Knight: Review
I would be remiss if I didn’t post an “official” ColaMovies.com review of the Dark Knight. I was finally able to get out and see this one (actually twice this weekend) and it was definitely one of those rare experiences where the movie lives up to the hype. This movie really transcends the comic book hero category, it is a film full of mature performances that really sells the tragedy in the story-line, I would even call it a work of art.
