Review: Star Trek
I have to say that I’ve been looking forward to this movie for quite some time now. I finally got to get out and see it opening weekend and it did not disappoint. I am now thoroughly convinced that J.J. Abrams is a genius film maker/story teller and will devour pretty much anything he produces from here on out. This new Star Trek Kicking & Screaming video
story works on several different levels. If you are a long time Trekkie/Trekker
you’re going to love it for all of its references and classic recreations of dialog and snippets from the original series, if you couldn’t care less about Star Trek and just want to see a great movie that’s both engaging and entertaining then you’re also going to love this movie. (more…)

Oh man, I can’t wait to see this movie. I don’t normally go in for pre-movie hype, but some are calling this, the next Blade Runner. I’ll wait to form my opinion when I see it but the trailer looks amazing.

The Day the Earth Stood Still: new trailer out
How about this? New 5 minute trailer for The Day The Earth Stood Still. I was against this remake at first, especially when I heard it had Keanu in it, but the things i’ve seen about it make me excited. If this trailer is any indication, it should be a worthy remake.
